3. Reservations and Payments
- Bookings can be made directly via our website, over the phone, or in person at our Teddington office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your reservation. Full payment and a security deposit are typically required upon vehicle collection. All prices are stated in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards through secure payment processors.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- Upon collecting your vehicle, it is important to conduct a thorough inspection and report any pre-existing damage without delay. A vehicle condition report will be finalized and signed at this time. The vehicle should be returned in the same condition as it was collected, taking into account normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be evaluated and charged accordingly. Please return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at collection; refueling charges will apply if the fuel level is insufficient. You will be liable for any damage or loss up to the insurance excess amount unless additional coverage is purchased. Damage resulting from negligence or misuse remains your responsibility, irrespective of insurance coverage.
Cancellation and Modifications

7. Usage Restrictions
Prohibited Vehicle Uses
- Prohibited activities include any illegal use of the vehicle. Engaging in racing, rallying, or off-roading is not allowed, nor is transporting hazardous materials. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is strictly forbidden. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, exceeding passenger or weight limits, and operating outside designated geographical boundaries without prior consent are also prohibited.
Breach of terms may lead to rental cancellation and fees.
8. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Teddington will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims is limited to the amount you paid for your rental in the past year.
